Jason Harr

February 17, 1967 — June 24, 2015

Jason Harr, 48 of Hamilton passed away June 24, 2015 at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane following a long standing illness. Jason was born in Missoula, February 17, 1967 to John F. and Lavona A. Harr.
Jason had many interests to include, working on cars, fishing, boating, swimming, shooting, collecting star trek collectables, camping and hiking. He also had a passion for rescuing unwanted dogs and he worked with a local dog rescue organization in Hamilton. In fact, three of his five dogs were rescue dogs. His dogs were a very important part of his life and went with him everywhere.
Jason enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was very close to his parents and sister. He also had some very close friends who were more life family than friends to him. Jason was the kind of friends who would drop what he was doing to give a lending hand. You could call him anytime of the day or night and he would be there for you.
He had an excellent, if not unusual, sense of humor. Jason loved to make people laugh. His sense of humor helped him to overcome all of the medical and physical obstacles (kidney transplants, dialysis, surgeries, ect.) that he faced. He never complained or requested sympathy. Has was a very special and unique person. He will be greatly missed.
Jason was preceded in death by a sister, Julie A. Harr; grandparents, Opal and Bernard Norton, grandmother, Birdie L. Harr and uncles, Monty and Larry Norton.
He is survived by his parents, Jack and Lavona Harr; sister, Leone R. Harr; aunts, Betty Norton, Connie Heath and Judy Norton; Uncle and aunt, Terry and Delaine Clark; numerous cousins.
