June 22, 1929 — February 29, 2012

Beloved wife and mother Jean Chloe Hoelzle, 82, went to be with her family on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at the Discovery Care Center in Hamilton.
Jean was born on June 22nd 1929 in Carmen, ID to Charles and Lucy Randolph, the 5th of 9 children she was the youngest of twins.
Jean was raised in Carmen and Shoup, ID. She attended school and graduated 8th grade in Shoup. At a very young age she met Eli LeMaster and in July of 1944 they were married in Hamilton, MT. They had 6 children, Carol (Roger) Peterson of Casa Grande, AZ., Gladys (Ron) Stevens of Green River, WY., Owen (Joy) LeMaster of Gibbonsville, ID., Ellen (Mike) East of Lander, WY., Ruth (Chris) McCabe of Corvallis, MT., and Terry LeMaster of Salmon, ID.
While married to Eli the family traveled throughout Montana, Idaho and Utah where Eli mined for a living. In 1957 they settled in Utah and Eli went to work for Harrison International and Texas Gulf Sulfur (Hecla Mine) where on June 25, 1963 he was killed in a mining accident.
Jean later married Charles Hoelzle. Chuck has 3 daughters, Sharon, Nancy and Cleo and the combined family settled in Salmon, ID. In 1992 after a long courageous battle with Leukemia Chuck passed away.
Jean never remarried but she had a best boyfriend Don Pugh. They were best friends and enjoyed spending time together. They loved each other and Don took such good care of Jean when she became ill.
Jean was always busy she had the most beautiful garden in Lemhi County. She worked for the Salmon School District and later King B Jerky. She canned, crafted and crocheted, she was a natural at any craft. She loved spending time with friends and family especially her grandchildren.
Jean was a beautiful person on the inside and out. She had such a kind heart and a wonderful sense of humor and was the best mother in the world. She will be missed by so many but she is finally home and at peace.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, 2 husbands, 2 brothers Homer and Wayne Randolph, 3 sisters Stella Munson, June LeMaster and Charlotte Solle.
She is survived by 3 sisters Merle Dole of Hammitt, ID., Lila Sullivan of Brodus, MT., and Rosie Stephanision of Salmon, ID; 6 children, 3 step-children, 10 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren and numerous great grandkids, nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to please make donations to the American Alzheimer's Association.
