Jean Tardeville Waldo, 89, of Hamilton passed away at her home Sunday, October 13, 2013.
Jean was born November 11, 1923 in Anaconda the daughter of the late Dean Ivan and Ruth Baker Tardeville. She attended Business College in Butte. She worked at the Anaconda Smelter until after WWII.
On March 21, 1945 Jean married Ralph (Bob) Waldo in Anaconda. She was a lifetime member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Anaconda.
Jean worked as a bookkeeper for Lew Hoblitt Tires in Hamilton. Jean enjoyed working puzzles, reading, embroidery and she was a member of the Hamilton First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Chad Wood; parents, Ruth and Dean Tardeville; aunt Hope Syverson and 4 Uncles.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn (Chuck) Wood of Hamilton; son, Ralph D. (Connie) Waldo of Florida; grandchildren, Quang Wood of Michigan, Rob and Jennifer Waldo of Hamilton, Brenda Brumbaugh of CA; Great Grandchildren, Sarah Wood, Samuel Wood, Julia Wood, Chaney Waldo, Jordan Waldo and Billy Brumbaugh.
The family suggests memorials to the Hamilton First Presbyterian Church.
