Jeffrey Dean Harris

Jeffrey Dean Harris, 48 years old, departed this world Aug. 12, 2009 from his home in Corvallis, Montana. He is survived by his wife Lora of Corvallis, His step-daughter Shawnna Eaton of Germantown, Md., mother LaVonne Harris, Anita, Ia., father Gary Harris, Radcliffe, Ia., brother Mike Harris, Dexter,Ia., two step-grandchildren Dakota Eaton and Charlotte Eaton Campola, Germantown, Md., and two nephews Grant and Garrett Harris of Iowa. Jeff served in the the first Gulf War as a Medic and was a disabled combat veteran. He worked as a pressman for several years prior to the Gulf War of '91 before becoming disabled. Jeff was an amateur herbalist specializing in medicinal herbs and organic produce. He also enjoyed world history and studied the world's religions as an amateur theologian. He dedicated his life to helping others, making friends throughout the world. He has been cremated and Jeff will return to Iowa soil.
