Hamilton - "Jerry" Anthony Cabral, 63, of Hamilton passed away Friday June 1, 2012 at Marcus Daly Hospice. He was born August 30, 1948 in Oakland, California, the son of the late Anthony and Elisabeth Cabral.
Jerry was raised in Richmond, California and graduated from Richmond High School in 1966. He did many things during his life, including being a mechanic at Alameda Navy Air Station, an avid 4 wheel drive enthusiast. During the last 25 years of his life he was a general contractor.
In 1981 he married Cathy Boyle and lived in Santa Rosa, California. In 1983 their only child, daughter Amy, came into their lives. In 1991, they moved to Hamilton and ran his construction company. Although Jerry and Cathy divorced, they remained the best of friends.
Over the course of Jerry's life, he has always loved the game of baseball. From playing baseball growing up to coaching his own daughter during her years of playing the game he loved, coaching the Bitterroot Red Sox, and umpiring games whenever he was asked.
He is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Cathy Cabral, daughter Amy Cabral (Jason Spek), sister in law Susie Boyle, all of Hamilton; sisters Darlene Lizor and Patti (Bob) Van Bibber of San Pablo California, brother Dennis Cabral of Medford Oregon, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family suggests that memorials be made to the Daly Hospital Foundation, 1200 Westwood Drive, Hamilton, MT 59840 to help fund the new ICU unit.
