To My Dear Husband:

On October 27, 2016 at approximately 1:00 pm my world changed forever.  When your heart and breathing stopped, my breathing paused for a long while.  Your life on this earth ended and I became a widow to continue to walk this earth without you.  Your journey as son, father, brother, uncle, grandpa, friend and beloved husband ended, and you became our angel in heaven.  You are now walking tall again. Life was hard for us for the last 3-1/2 years but you never once complained.

I grieve because I no longer have my partner of over 37 years by my side.  At the same time, I’m happy because you can once again be free to move with ease.  Your body is strong and well once more.  Someday I will again walk by your side when my time on earth is done.  Until then, enjoy being in the presence of your Lord and Savior, and with family, friends and loving pets that have gone before you.  Just know I have always loved you and will forever carry you in my heart.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Lygia; son, Christopher (Bea), Randy & Alec; son, Eric (Tara), Kaitlynn, Kole, & Kynlee; daughter, Amy; and sister, Penny.

He was preceded in death by his father, Plen; mother, Elise; step-mother, Georgia; and brother, Leroy.

A Celebration of life will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home’s community room.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Bitterroot Humane Society, Haven House or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel.
