Joe Flores Gonzales

Joe Flores Gonzales left us for his Great Adventure Monday August 30, 3 days after his 67th birthday. He is now with his Mom, brothers Pete and Jonas, and all the loved ones who have gone before him, in the presence of the Lord. And if anyone deserves to be there, it is Joe, for he loves Jesus with all his heart and soul.

- He is survived by his adoring wife, Frances, daughter Donna and husband MarJan who took such special and loving care of him during his battle with the cancer that ravaged his body like a roaring lion. Also survived by son Ed and his wife Cathy, of California, and their daughter, Hana Marie. Hana was the special love of his life. Joe was blessed to have them with him during his illness and enjoy their tender care.

- Joe is also survived by his three sisters, Angie, Josie, and Vera, and their families, all of California. They were able to visit. He will be sorely missed by his 'dawg, Rosie, when went everywhere with him in his "Speedy G" truck.

- Joe worked in California for 30 years as an electrical contractor and in the process learned all the building trades. He was able to fix or build anything. He was always willing to help everyone who needed him.

- Joe has been cremated. There will be a memorial service for him sometime later when family and friends can gather. Joe was a member of First Baptist Church, Hamilton.

- No flowers please. Instead, make a contribution to the Hospice at Marcus Daly.
We could not have made it thru this painful time without their help and endless kindness.
The world is truly blessed with wonderful people.

- The Bible tells us that God cares about us - that he collects every tear in a bottle, numbers every hair on our head, and knows every hurt in our heart - - He cares right down to the last detail. Amen
