Joe Mark Nicol

HAMILTON – Joe Mark Nicol, 67, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, January 5, 2025 at his home after losing his battle with cancer.  He was born August 4, 1957 in Hamilton the son of Robert and Arlene Nicol.

Joe graduated from Marana High School in Tucson, AZ.  He married Lynda Smith and together they had 4 children.  Later, Joe married Deb Chambers and together they had 1 child.

Joe was a Smoke Jumper with over 100 jumps.  He was also an industrial painter and then a welder for over 30 years.  Joe was a jack of all trades and a master of mischief.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Debra Chambers, of Hamilton; 5 children, Adam Chambers, Jennifer Jessop and husband Devonn, Eric and wife Rikki, Mike Nicol and wife Linda and Amanda Oliver; 6 grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Jan Cogburn and Kim Zacha.

A Luau Celebration of Life will be held in the spring.  The family suggests that memorials be made to the family for a bench to be placed at his gravesite.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
