John Robert Prowse

CORVALLIS - John Robert Prowse, 80, of Corvallis passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Marcus Daly Memorial Hospital from a heart attack. He was born October 3, 1932 in Bingham Canyon, UT.
Bob was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and served in the Korean War. He married Marjorie Crump on September 24, 1952 in Riverton, UT and their marriage was sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple on March 22, 1977.
Bob retired from the Kennecott Copper Mine and then moved to Montana in 1979. He served in various callings in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Bob is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Marjorie Crump Prowse; 4 children, Robert Douglas Prowse, LaJean Anderson, Leonard John Prowse and Jeri Lyn Cik and their spouses; 20 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and his loyal lap dog, Gus. Bob loved his family, he loved to garden, he loved to tinker and he loved to BS. It's all good.
