John Charles Schmidt, 76 of Corvallis passed away Friday September 26, 2025 at his home in Corvallis.
John was born December 13, 1948 in California. He married his wife Karen on December 1, 2018. John worked as an IT Professional and computer programmer.
He was a member of the Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed mountain biking and skiing.
John was preceded in death by his parents George and Aspasia Schmidt.
He is survived by his wife Karen of Corvallis; sons Cody Schmidt of Lolo and Andy Schmidt of Missoula; and step-daughter Renee Basque of Hamilton.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. A celebration of John's life will follow at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Hamilton.
