Johnny Porter Moreland

Johnny Porter Moreland, cherished infant son of Matthew and Gretchen Moreland, passed away from Sudden Unexpected Infant Death Syndrome on July 17, 2026, in Hamilton, MT. Born on October 28, 2025, he brought immense joy, love, and light into the world during his brief time with us.

Though his time here was far too short, Johnny will never be forgotten. He was a tough little guy who broke most everything he touched and in turn could melt your heart with his smile.

He is survived and deeply missed by his parents, Matthew and Gretchen Moreland; his sister, Mattie Kelley Moreland; his grandparents, John Porter Moreland (Marcie), Susie C. Moreland, and Allison Gilham; his great-grandmother, Marlene Brown; his aunts, Amanda Robertson, and Rachel Bowen; his uncle, Kaz Robertson; and his cousins, Makaylyn Bowen, Zoë Robertson, and Landon Bowen.

Johnny was greeted in Heaven by his grandfather, Douglas Gilham.
