Joseph J. Pistey Jr.

Joseph "Joe" Pistey Jr., 73 of Sula passed away September 15, 2015 of an Aortic Anuerysm at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, MT.
Joe was born August 17, 1942 in Bridgeport, Connecticut to Frances and Joseph Pistey. He graduated from Stratford High School and Norwalk State Technical College.
Joe and his wife Carole Dias Pistey have been married for 30 years. He was a retired engineer with Southern New England Telephone Company after 34 years with the company. Joe was honorably discharged from the US Army as a SP5 having served in Vietnam.
Joe was a member of the Telephone Pioneers and the Telso Motorcycle Club. He enjoyed fishing, wood cutting, bird hunting, boating, skiing and four wheeling.
He was preceded in death by her parents. Surviving include his wife, Carole of Sula, MT; daughter, Tasha Tucker of Santan Valley, AZ; grandchildren, Cole and Lexi Tucker of Santan, AZ; niece, Amanda P. Velky of Milford, CT; two sisters, numerous nieces and nephews and his many cherished friends in both MT and CT.
