Judith Ann Hoge

Judith Ann McCurry Hoge 71, of Corvallis passed away October 20, 2014 at Community Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia. Thank you to the most wonderful nurses ever, your kindness was second to none.
Judy was born August 24, 1943 in Morris, Illinois life really began when at 16 she had her son, Scott... what a journey. However, in 1980, she met Myron Hoge, a truck driver for the Huffman Brothers Packaging Company in Vernon, CA where she was an excellent dispatcher. They fell in love and in 1981 they married. That was when the party began. They drove truck together for many years and then Myron turned her '69 VW bug into their 3 wheel "Trike." Along with their tent, they traveled the Western half of the U.S. and all national parks, Great Times!
Judy had many opportunities in life and she took them all. She drove truck, built starters, rebuilt engines in big rigs and was an outrider at Santa Anita Racetrack, and dear God, could she cook! She always loved anything with tires, and popping wheelies and never spilling her cocktail, Sprint Cars, NASCAR " You name it. In 1995, Myron and Judy came to Montana to visit a friend and never left. They retired in 2002 and 2008 in Corvallis. They loved dancing, being with friends, traveling and life.
Survivors include her husband, Myron; son, Scott (Sandy) Johnson of Los Angeles; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and her brother, Michael McCurry.
Service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel and Crematory in Hamilton.
