Julia Pauline Trollope

Julia "Polly" Trollope, died Dec. 12, 2014. Born in 1924 in Stites, Idaho, to parents Jack and Julie Parsell. Polly grew up in Idaho and moved to Missoula. Polly hada passion for helping others so she went to nursing school " St. Peters College in Helena " where she got her degree in nursing.

After school she moved to Napa, California and started a family. Polly missed Montana so she moved back and worked for Dr. Peterson, Petty and McClaine for 22 years.

Polly married Cliff Trollpe and together they traveled and also ran the River Ranch for the Ousip. Polly's greatest asset was always seeing the best in everybody and everything. She was a very giving and loving wonderful mother and friend. She will be truly missed.

She is survived by her three children, Earl Christian, Peter Childres, and Helen Pope; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.


Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Hamilton with Peggie Oury officiating. Private family interment will take place at Corvallis Cemetery.
