Karin "Karolina" Boche

Hamilton - Karolina (Karin) Boche, 86 of Hamilton, passed away of natural causes, Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at Aaron Care in Corvallis.

She was born January 12, 1923 in Hohenburg, Germany to Jakob and Creszenz Wolfsteiner. She was educated there before coming to the United States in 1949, settling in Norfolk, Nebraska where she was employed at the state hospital as a Psychiatric Aid. She was also employed at several other hospitals. On May 16, 1967, she married John Boche in Grangeville, Idaho. In 1979, her husband retired from federal service, the couple then made their home in Hamilton, MT.

Survivors include her husband, John of Hamilton; sister, Mrs. Jack Puckett of Georgetown, OH.; brother, Hans Wolfsteiner of Germany; nephews, Hermann Puckett of Pensacola, FL., Willy Puckett of Cincinnati, OH., Erwin and Hansee Wolfsteiner of Germany; nieces, Mrs. Ron Johnson of Georgetown, OH., Mrs. Rick Vandergrift of Cincinnati, OH., Mrs. Jess Roades of Hillsboro, OH., Mrs. Billy Kirtc of Henderson, KY., Elke Wolfsteiner and Heidi Bauml both of Germany.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

No public services are scheduled. Cremation and urn placement are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.
