STEVENSVILLE - Katharina Merrell, 75, of Stevensville passed away Tuesday, January 01, 2013 at her home. She was born August 16, 1937 in Norway the daughter of Enenvold and Solvieg Falsen Moller.
Katya was raised and educated in Norway. After high school she attended The Sorbonne in Paris, France. Katya had a life long passion with skiing and was a member of the ski club in the Bitterroot. Katya loved being outdoors and painting and especially loved her dogs.
Katya was preceded in death by her husband, Cyrus Merrell. She is survived by her daughter, Tina St. John; her 2 sons, Chris Clark and Andrew Clark; and her grandsons, Cooper, Sawyer and Spencer Clark.
An informal service will be held in the Spring. Katya will be buried in Norway with her parents.
