Kathleen Wiles

Kathleen Wiles, 85, of Hamilton passed away Friday, July 25, 2014 at the Discovery Care Centre in Hamilton. She was born November 25, 1929 in Clemscott, OK the daughter of Virgil S. and Eula J. Wright.
Kathleen was raised in Oklahoma. She attended Springdale Elementary and then Dickson Consolidated School both in Oklahoma. She graduated from Benicia High School in California in 1946. During her school years, Kathleen was the captain of the girl's basketball team and the drill team, the editor for the school paper and also played volleyball. She then attended Napa Valley Junior College and earned her Associates Degree in Psychology. Kathleen went on to Chico State University and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science.
Kathleen's first job was working in the cherry orchards in California. She worked various jobs throughout her life including Montgomery Ward, Pacific Finance, and Bank of America. She married Everett Wiles on February 8, 1947.
Kathleen served on the Calistoga School Board for 3 years, was a member of the Eastern Star and went back to school in her fifties. She enjoyed traveling, photography and most of all, her family.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wiles; her brother, Gerald V. Wright; and her parents. She is survived by her son, Michael Wiles and his wife Glenda of Hamilton; her son, Kenneth Wiles of Columbia Falls; her grandsons, Troy, Kelly, Evan and Matthew Wiles; her granddaughters, Whitney Wiles and Audra White; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Michael Wiles, Kenneth Wiles, Matthew Wiles, Evan Wiles, Troy Wiles and Kelly Wiles.
