Keith "Buck" Thomas Kreitter Jr.

HAMILTON - Keith "Buck" Thomas Kreitter, Jr., age 59, passed away from natural causes at his home in Hamilton, Montana, on April 5, 2025.

Buck was born in Fresno, California, to Barbara Smither and Keith Kreitter. He graduated from Mariposa County High School in 1983 and began a life full of hard work, creativity, and service to others. After graduation, Buck eventually made his home in Hamilton, Montana, where he established his own business, Buck of All Trades.

A gifted craftsman and artist, Buck poured his creativity into everything he did—from drawing and glassblowing to intricate tile work and woodworking. He had an eye for detail and a talent for turning everyday materials into works of art.

Buck was a friend to many, known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand. He loved the outdoors and could often be found fishing, hunting, or enjoying a drink with friends. Above all, he cherished time spent with his dogs, Lady Girl, Dammit, and the late, La Chew and Chew 2, as well as his beloved family and friends.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Smither of Spokane, WA; his brother, Mark Scott and wife Catheleen of Colbert, WA; nieces and nephews Mark Scott Jr., Halie Frazier, husband Chris, Lacie Scott, and Christopher Scott; great-nieces Briella and Gracie; and many cousins and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.  All who knew and loved Buck are welcome to attend and celebrate his life.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
