Kenneth Reiss

HAMILTON - Kenneth (Ken) Reiss, 71, of Hamilton, Montana, formerly of Anaconda, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019 at Saint Pat's Hospital in Missoula.

Ken was the fourth of six children born on Dec. 28, 1947 to Frank and Emma Reiss. He grew up in Anaconda and graduated from Anaconda High in 1967. After graduation, he joined the Navy and was stationed on the USS Ticonderoga during the Vietnam War.

Ken married Nancy Harball on Oct. 9, 1971 in Butte.  He was a pipefitter/welder Local 41.

Ken was preceded in death by his father, Frank; father-in-law, Gordon Harball; brothers-in-law, William (Bill) Thomas, Robert (Bob) Roberts; sister-in-law, Carol Reiss; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Ken is survived by his wife Nancy of 47 years; his mother, Emma Reiss, and sisters, Elaine Thomas, Darlene Roberts, Peggy (Gary) Pearson, all of Anaconda; brothers, Lester (LaGay) of Idaho and Dave of Anaconda; mother-in-law, Carol Harball of Hamilton; brothers-in-law, Andy (Alice) Harball of Hamilton and Danny (Helen) Harball of Washington; a very "Dear to his Heart" aunt, Martina Eckard of Billings; and numerous other aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2019 from 2:00 until 4:00 pm in the Daly-Leach Chapel Community Room.  Memorials may be made in Ken’s name to the St. Jude’s Children’s Cancer Research Hospital or to St. Francis Catholic Parish in Hamilton.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
