Kurtis Bryan Wilson, 53, of Corvallis passed away at Providence St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, due to natural causes. He was born in Lodi, California on May 9, 1973, and brought great joy over the years to his parents, Judy and Wayne Wilson.
Some of Kurtis’s hobbies while growing up included participating in his Boy Scouts troop activities and getting involved as a youth director. In later life, he enjoyed traveling.
After finishing high school, Kurtis began working as a heavy equipment operator in the mining industry. While employed at Komatsu, he got to work all over the world, visiting multiple countries and continents. Kurtis was even briefly featured in an episode of Gold Rush while operating one of his machines. One of his favorite places to visit was Japan. He always felt so blessed to have a job he truly loved.
Kurtis was preceded in death by his grandparents, Wallace and Dorothy Wilson.
He is survived by many loving family members; Wayne and Judy Wilson, Randy Wilson, Scott Wilson, Grant Wilson, Jory Ewing, and several nieces and nephews.
