Larry J. Ruckman

DARBY – Larry J. Ruckman, 80, of Darby passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula.  He was born October 11, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA the son of the late Larry L. and Virginia (Favata) Ruckman.

Larry graduated from El Rancho High School in Pico Rivera, CA in 1962.  He became a welder and started his own business.  Later he worked as a crane mechanic before becoming a crane operator until his retirement.  Larry got his private pilots license and enjoyed many happy hours flying his plane.

Larry is survived by his wife, Karen of Darby; son, Larry Ruckman and wife Kim of Murrietta, CA; grandson, Anthony Ruckman and granddaughter, Ashley Ruckman both of Murrietta, CA; and niece, Lisa Seaton of Simi Valley, CA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joan Ruckman of Upland, CA.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 9, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Daly-Leach Chapel with a reception following in the funeral home’s community room.  Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton following the reception.
