Lawrence "Larry" A. Hale

Lawrence "Larry" A. Hale, 89 of Hamilton passed away Monday, October 14, 2024 at his home in Hamilton.

Larry was born October 10, 1935 in Middlebury, Vermont to the late Lawrence S. and Louise Austelle Hale.

Following his education he entered the US Navy where he served for a number of years.

Larry was a Past Master and longtime member of the Masons and served numerous positions in Ionic Lodge # 38 A.F. & A.M. in Hamilton.

He and his wife Mary owned and operated the Woodside Store from 1985 to 1995 when they turned the business over to his daughter.

Larry was preceded in death by his wife Mary in September 2024.  He is survived by his children, several grandchildren and his sister.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at 4:00 pm at the Hamilton Ionic Lodge #38.  The family requests that a tree be planted in Larry's name in lieu of flowers.
