Lawrence McMahon, 89 of Corvallis passed away November 4, 2020 at his home in Corvallis.
Lawrence was born April 20, 1931 in Klamath Falls, Oregon to the late Vincent and Cleta Irene Sloan McMahon. He was raised and educated in Seattle, WA.
He marred Marie Swindell on April 24, 1978 in Reno, NV. The couple has been married for 42 years. He served in the Navy for four years including service in the Korean War. Larry worked for Weyerhauser in Longview Washington for 38 years. He enjoyed hiking, camping and biking.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Dorothy.
Larry is survived by his wife, Marie of Corvallis, MT; stepson, Norm (Pat) Hiatt of Corvallis, MT; stepdaughter, Teresa Hiatt of Phoenix, AZ; stepson, Steve Hiatt of Wenatchee, WA; stepson, Stan Hiatt of Longview, WA; 6 grandkids and numerous great grandkids.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
