Lelia Lavoie Skinner, 99 went to be with the Lord on December 27, 2011 at Marcus Daly Hospital, Hamilton, Montana.
- She was born January 17, 1912, in Berlin, New Hampshire, to the late Earnest LaVoie and the late Virginia Beaupre LaVoie. She was of the catholic faith. She moved with her family to Fort Myers, Florida, when she was 8 years old. She was married in Fort Myers August 23, 1931, to her beloved Noah Skinner. They made their home in Fort Myers all their married life. They had two children, Joyce Lorena and Jerry Noah.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Noah in 1979, daughter, Joyce 1998, 5 sisters and 4 brothers, great grandson Dustin Skinner 2001.
She is survived by her son, Jerry, daughter-in-law Ginger Skinner, Grandsons Glenn (Tina), Wes (Rita) of Montana, Granddaughters Terri Skinner and Tina Silcox of Fort Myers, Florida, son-in-law Bill Horton of Sarasota, grandson Bill (Denise) and Donny (Stacey) Horton of Sarasota, 13 great-grand children, 10 great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Lelia was a homemaker who loved to sew, take care of her home and yard. She moved to Montana at the age of 89 to be with her family. She will be missed by all her family and Friends
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 2nd at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Private family interment will take place at Corvallis Cemetery.
