Leroy A. Mavros

HAMILTON - LeRoy A. Mavros, 75, of Hamilton passed away Monday, October 13, 2014 at the Marcus Daly Hospice and Palliative Care Center from heart disease. He was born November 19, 1938 in Hamilton the son of Tony A. and Mayme M. (Mogus) Mavros.
LeRoy was born in the house on Grantsdale Road where he was raised with his 4 brothers and 1 sister. He went to the Grantsdale School and also Hamilton High School. LeRoy had several jobs, including working 22 years for the US Forest Service, cutting firewood with his nephew Robin Mavros and he later had his own firewood business.
LeRoy loved to hunt, fish and play pool. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother and sister-in-law, Max and Wanda Mavros; his brother, Tony Mavros; his niece, Sharon Mavros; and his nephew, Dan Mavros. LeRoy is survived by his loving wife Mary of Hamilton; his brother, Art Mavros of Corvallis; his sister, Gen Dickerson and husband Bob of Missoula; 2 sisters-in-law, Ann Mavros of Hamilton and Jean Mavros of Corvallis; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
