Missoula - Leslie T. Pribula, 96 of Missoula died of natural causes, Tuesday, March 17, 2009 at the Riverside Health Care Center.
Les was born December 24, 1912 in Olso, Minnesota to the late John J. and Albina F. Pribula. In the 1930's and early 1940's Les worked as a well driller in Minnesota. During these years he also made numerous trips to Big Timber, Montana to visit family members.
Les went into the U.S. Army in 1942 and served overseas in the 36th Infantry Division in Italy, France, and Germany.
Upon returning home he married Tena Dallum on October 14, 1946. They had only one daughter Robertha on March 29, 1948. For a number of years he formed and grew vegetables to sell to grocery stores and restaurants in Western Minnesota. In the early 1950's he started a heavy equipment construction business and operated that until health problems forced him to retire and sell not only the construction business, but also the farm. The couple moved to Hamilton in August 1973. In 2003 he moved to Missoula to live with his daughter.
He was preceded in death by his wife Tena, parents and 5 siblings.
Les is survived by his daughter Robertha (Bill) Engelstad of Missoula; sisters Lillian Case of N.D. and Valeria Dudinsky, of Ohio.
