HAMILTON – Lewis Dodd Harman, 96, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, July 30, 2017. Lewis was born April 11, 1921 to Brozig & Christina Harman in Columbia, SC.
He joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 and became an accomplished pilot, flying jets, Airsea Rescue in the South Pacific, float planes and ski planes in Alaska.
Lewis and his wife, June, were married 62 years, loved traveling, Bridge, gardening and fishing. They had two daughters, LaRee of Astoria, OR and Sherry of Asheville, NC.
He is survived by his daughter, LaRee; his 4 grandchildren, Rhett (Stefanie), David (Jennifer), Mary (Mike) & Jeff (Yvonne) & their families with 10 Great Grandchildren.
No formal services will be held.
