Lilliane Marie Bryan

Hamilton - Lilliane Marie Bryan, 94 of Hamilton passed away Sunday, May 18, 2025 at The Hamilton Assisted Living and Memory Care in Hamilton.

Lilliane was born July 5, 1930 in Missoula, the daughter of Alexander and Blanche Dion Paul.  She graduated from Missoula County High School. Lilliane married Joseph Bryan on December 31, 1955.  She was a bookkeeper at a Creamery Business in Missoula and was also the bookkeeper for Auto Electric Services in Missoula. Lilliane owned and operated a gift and art shop in Hamilton for many years.  She was a Docent at the Ravalli County Museum and a lifelong member of the Catholic Church. Lilliane was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, knitting and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Bryan, a son David Bryan her parents and her brother Prosper Paul.

She is survived by her daughter Virginia (Adam) Carroll of Missoula; son James (Becky) Bryan of Hamilton; daughter Barbara Westfall (Mike Schrapps) of Hamilton; grandchildren, Maeve Carroll, Evan Carroll, Camielle Westfall, Abe Westfall, Terry Craft, Jacque Buzzell and Joey Bryan; she also has 5 great grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at 10:30 am with the Funeral Mass following at 11:00 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.  There will be a reception following the committal service in the Daly-Leach Chapel Community Room.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made in Lilliane’s name to Bitterroot Health Hospice, 1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT 59840.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
