Linda L. (Lord) Bush, 77, of Corvallis went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, February, 20, 2026 at her home; surrounded by her family. She was full of thanksgiving for her life here on earth, but was more than ready to be reunited with her husband, family and friends that had gone before. She focused on others and “mothered” her loved ones until the very end.

Linda was born October 8, 1948, in Oneonta, New York, the second child and only daughter of Alvin C. Lord and Marguerite B. (Dean) Lord. Her parents divorced when she was young. Her older brother, Thomas A. Lord, was to live with her mother and she was to live with her father. After traveling around the states with her dad, they finally landed in southern California. They eventually met LeRoy and Jo Cramer, along with their children, Mike, Karey, and Kim, who would end up helping raise Linda and be her “adoptive family”. She met Dennis Bush at the age of fourteen and started praying that she would be able to marry him. Three years later, her prayers were answered. Though neither of them would ever try to tell people that their life was always smooth sailing, they both put in the hard work and celebrated 57 years of marriage before Dennis passed in 2023.

Over the years, Mama worked several jobs from Northrup Aerospace to waitressing at the Montana Cafe but her true calling was to be a wife and mother. “Mother” was the role that she excelled at above all others. She loved her kids and grandkids with a ferocity that no one could deny. She was their number one fan, encourager, and confidant. She was like a second mother to many of her children’s friends over the years as well. She always had food to nourish their bodies, a listening ear to boost their confidence, and an ability to make them feel seen, loved and unique. That she was loved was quite evident - it was proven by all the visitors she received those last few days.

Linda is survived by her three children; Gina (Keith) Hellyer of Salem, MO, Luke Bush of Darby, and Summer (Clifton) Williams of Victor; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nephews and nieces, along with many close friends that are like family, who will miss her greatly.

Please come help celebrate a life well-lived on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at 2pm at the Darby Community Clubhouse with Pastor Dan Wagenmann officiating. A reception with refreshments will follow.
