Linda Lee Mortemore

Linda Lee Mortemore, 73 of Darby passed away on December 24, 2012 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice Center in Hamilton. She was born May 31, 1939 in Toledo, Ohio.
Linda was an avid hiker, biker and roller skater but her passion was scuba diving. She was an avid football fan, Daytona 500 fan and loved cross country skiing. She was an amazing cook.
Linda volunteered with Bitterroot Therapeutic riding and the Llama sanctuary. She and her husband of 44 years, Gary retired from Florida and spent over 12 years exploring the USA in their RV before planting roots in the State they loved so much, Montana.
Surviving include her husband Gary of Darby; brother, Wellington F. "Todd" (Joan) Roemer of Conner, MT; sister, Susan Hufford,; brother, Thomas Roemer; sister, Meredith Deleone; brothers, K.C. Roemer and Robert Roemer; 9 children, 22 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sat (Jan 5th) at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with Pastor Doug Peterson officiating. Private family urn placement will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice, 1200 Westwood Dr., Hamilton, MT 59840.
