Hamilton - Lloyd C. Bridge, 90 of Hamilton died peacefully in his sleep due to cancer, October 2, 2009 at his home in Hamilton.
He was born October 13, 1918 in Jamestown, ND to Robert and Amelia Charlesworth Bridge. Lloyd completed 8th grade and received an electrical diploma from N.D. State School of Science.
Lloyd married Viola Lundberg on January 2, 1940. He worked in the aircraft factories in Omaha, Nebraska and San Diego, CA at the onset of W.W. II and served in the Army Air Corps as an electrical inspector on C-54 planes until the end of the war.
He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed playing fiddle and organ music.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and an infant son.
Lloyd is survived by his wife Viola; two daughters, Janet (Donald) Parker of Portland, OR., and Ilene (Rolland) Schrader of Hamilton; son, Loren (Elaine) Bridge of Corvallis, MT.; two granddaughters, Lisa (Jason) Rigby of Missoula and Tina Parker of Nashville, TN.; two grandsons, Derik Schrader with the US Army at Ft. Bragg, N.C. and Eric Parker of Nashville, TN.
