Lois A. Kent

HAMILTON - Lois A. Kent, 81, of Hamilton passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at her home in Hamilton. She was born in Florence, MT on November 20, 1927 the daughter of Victor and Stella Morris. Lois graduated from Corvallis High School.
On January 1, 1947 she married Herbert Kent in Woodside, MT. Her entire life was spent serving her family and assisting her husband in his grocery business as owners of the Fairway IGA in Hamilton.
Lois was a member of the Eastern Star and the Elks Club. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert; her son, Victor; and her sister, Marva Wall. Lois is survived by her children, Jackie Wren and husband Bob of Great Falls, Doug Kent and wife Kay of Hamilton and Jennifer Gardner and husband Randy of Forsyth; her sister, Lee Jean of Albuquerque, NM; her sister-in-law, Joyce Rutherford of Louisville, KY; 3 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Lois's name to the American Diabetes Association.
