Lon Z. Brown

DARBY - Lon Z. Brown, 60, of Darby passed away at his home on Sunday evening, June 28, 2009.

Lon was born September 28, 1948 in Hamilton, Montana. He was raised and educated in Darby. Lon served in the US Army from 1969 - 1971 during the Vietnam war and was stationed in Thailand . He returned to Darby and married his beloved wife, Vicki, February 13, 1971. Lon was a lifelong logger.

Known as Paco by his grandchildren, he loved to take them camping, fishing, or just sitting under the stars wrapped in an elk hide blanket. He also enjoyed gardening, and creating gifts for his loved ones out of things nature provided.

Lon was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Vicki; father Lyle; son Chris (Lorrie); Daughter Kim (David); grandchildren Logan, Tyler, Rylee, Carson; brothers Vic, Brad, and Trenny, and many beloved cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and a family of friends.
