Lorena May (Davidson) Laymon was born on May 31, 1965 in Hamilton, MT and passed away peacefully on November 16, 2024. Though her spirit was strong and her soul feisty, her body simply couldn’t continue to endure.
The memories she leaves behind will be for her deep love of horses, devotion to her God, country music (especially Dwight Yoakam), Ford tough trucks, and her absolute joy to travel.
She’s preceded in death by her parents, Duane and Carol Davidson; brother, Russell; sister, Robin; and two nephews.
She’s survived by her daughter, Trista; brother, Bud; sister, Jackie; and her best friend, Rexanna.
Lorena’s favorite place was a beach in California. She had always hoped to live there as she loved the heat and found peace with the ocean and beach. She’s going to go on one last trip and a remembrance plaque will be placed for her there as we lay her to rest where she was most happy.
Her family wishes to thank the staff at Discovery Care for their care, compassion, and kindness. We also want to thank Tom at Daly Leach for his empathy and sensitivity.
From her daughter: Mom, I will always cherish the time we spent together. We played board, card, and online games together for hours while having movie marathon nights. We went for walks and bike rides having so many laughs and wonderful conversations. I loved the time we spent baking together. I’ll miss you and I love you.
