Lorene "Rena" (Reynolds) Hollibaugh

Lorene “Rena” Florence Hollibaugh, 92 of Hamilton passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice Center.

Rena was born July 16, 1924 in Foster, Ohio the daughter of the late Marion L. and M. Josie Reynolds.  Following high school, she worked as a Riveter on B-17’s at the Douglas Aircraft Factory in Long Beach, California. After the war, she returned to Hamilton, Mt. where she married the love of her life Ralph Hollibaugh and worked as a Dental Assistant for 23 years.  She was an active member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and enjoyed cooking, playing games and traveling.

Rena was preceded in death by her husband Ralph, siblings Ed, Lester, Brownie, Ruby and June.

She is survived by her son, Ron (Jane) Hollibaugh; daughter, Deanna (Raymond) Taylor; grandsons, Troy and Wade Taylor (Michael Carpenter), Ben Hollibaugh (Nicole, Kylie) and great grandson, Chase Hollibaugh.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 1st at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, Sept 2nd at the Daly-Leach Chapel with Pastor Bill Whitney officiating.  Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.

The family would like to thank the Discovery Care Centre and Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice Center for the care and compassion.

The family suggests memorials to The Blodgett View Christian School or a charity of the donor’s choice.
