Lyle H. Krall

VICTOR - Lyle H. Krall, 85, of Victor passed away on July 13, 2012 at Discovery Care Centre and in the care of Marcus Daly Hospice. He was born September 3, 1926 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of the late Harvey and Pearl (Hanson) Krall.

Lyle graduated from Central High School, class of 1944, in Sioux City, Iowa. He then enlisted in the US Navy and was honorably discharged in 1946. He married Alice Osborn in 1947. Together, he and Alice had 4 children. Lyle was predeceased by his wife in 1993. He completed college at the University of South Dakota in 1950 with a degree in journalism and was a successful insurance representative for Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company, retiring in 1988. In 1994 Lyle married his beloved Terri Rempp. Together they enjoyed golf, square dancing, horseback riding and some traveling. In the winter months you would find Lyle in his workspace tying flies so to wet his line on the first float down the Bitterroot River and in the spring, going through catalogs in preparation for his garden. Lyle also enjoyed camping, golf, and bird hunting with all of his favorite dogs.

Lyle is survived by his wife Terri, three sons, Ted (Sheri) Krall of Rochester, MN, Tom (Alice) Krall of the Virgin Islands, Richard (Margaret) Krall of Boone, IA, daughter, Susan (Bruce) Krueger of Bozeman, MT, and 5 grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be made to Bitterroot Valley Church of the Nazarene or Marcus Daly Hospice.
