Hamilton " Lyle Morgan, 81 of Hamilton passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at his home in Hamilton. Lyle was born to the late Jim and Hazel Stevenson Morgan on November 22, 1929 in Hamilton at the old Marcus Daly Hospital.
Lyle was a professional welder and learned his trade from Jack Wylie of Wylie's Welding and Blacksmith shop. In 1956, Lyle bought out Jack Wylie and bought a building at 117 N. 5th St. from Bill Reimer. Lyle partnered with Ed Dye and started Bitterroot Welding and Repair which operated for quite a few years.
Lyle enjoyed all phases of agriculture. He did custom haying and also was the first to start custom rototilling with a tractor mounted rototiller in the valley. He had a lot of very special customers and friends. He also operated a small ranch south east of Hamilton where he raised cattle and enjoyed working with saddle horses. Lyle always enjoyed a good saddle horse. Lyle always had a special friend, his dog, of which he had many throughout his life. Lyle lived his entire life in Hamilton.
Lyle is survived by his very special children, son, Randy (Linda) Morgan of Hamilton; daughter, Arleen (Jim) Willis of Keller, TX; grandsons, Cody Morgan of WY and Josh Willis of TX.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24th at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
