Margaret E Bell of Hamilton, Montana passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.
Margaret was born April 24, 1945 to Andrew H and Julia Disney Bell in Albany, New York. She graduated Gouverneur High school 1963 and Utica College 1967. After an internship at US Public Health Service Hospitals in Baltimore, MD and Staten Island, NY; Margaret moved to Florida, where she worked as the Medical Records Administrator at West Volusia Memorial Hospital in Deland for 20 years. She then moved to Montana where she worked as the Records Administrator at Marcus Daly Hospital in Hamilton for several years. After her retirement, Margaret enjoyed spending time with her cats, visiting with friends, viewing wildlife at her home in the Bitterroots, and fishing on her pond and in lakes and rivers in Western Montana.
Margaret is survived by Ed Miller, Hamilton, her companion of 30 years; a sister, Julia (Steve) Hunt of Clinton, MT; a brother, Francis (Charlotte) Bell of Ormond Beach, FL; step daughter, Carrie Miller of Salt Lake City and several step grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Margaret had an amazing ability to make friends wherever she went and will be dearly missed by a great many people.
- There will be a funeral Mass at St. Francis Catholic church in Hamilton 2pm Wednesday July 8, 2015 with Father Jim Connor officiating.
