Marius Glen Peacock, 79 of Hamilton passed away Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Aaron Health Care in Corvallis.
Marius was born May 13, 1932 in East Missoula, Montana to the late William D. and Alice Davis Peacock. He earned his Bachelors and Masters Degrees from the University of Montana in Microbiology and Public Health.
On June 11, 1955 Marius married Peggy Jontry in Missoula. He retired from the Rocky Mountain Lab in 1990 and returned to the Bitterroot to retire again in 2008. He was a member of the Lions Club, Ski Patrol and served as a CPR instructor. He enjoyed hunting, ice fishing, skiing, golf and back packing every trail in the Bitterroot and Big Hole as well as many parts of Idaho.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clyde, Jack, Bob and William "Joe" Jr.
Marius is survived by his wife Peggy; son, Dirk (Michelle); granddaughters, Kayla Kelly and Morgan Peacock; brothers, James of Bellevue, WA and Kenneth of St. Paul, MN; numerous nieces and nephews.
