Mary J. Davis

Mary Janette Bond Davis, age 84, passed away November 7, 2025. 

She was born to Thomas Lee and Agnes Bond in Plainview, Texas on February 28, 1941. She married Daniel Eugene Davis on Oct 13, 1957 in Lockney. Texas. She was a telephone operator employed by South Western Bell for 44 years from 1957 through 2001. Over her long 44 year career, she worked in several different offices, including Plainview, TX, Denver, CO, Amarillo,TX, Missoula, MT, Billings, MT, Colorado Springs, CO and Reno, NV.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, her siblings Helen, Ramona, Carl, Vickie, Shirley and Sondra.

Survivors include 4 children. Lorie Gause (Mike) of Amarillo, TX, Bret Davis (Wendy) of Conner, MT, Theron Cline (Bill) of Billings, MT, and Patrick Davis (Mary) of Ovando, MT; Six grandchildren, Craig Gause, Carley Saikwoski, Luke Davis, Ande Jorgenson, Kaylee Jorgenson, and Morgan Davis; Seven great grandchildren, Luke Kimbriel, Tullar Gause, Mayer Saikowski, Wynn Saikowski, Tucker Jorgenson, Truett Jorgenson, and Grayson Jorgenson; Two sisters, Rogene Pemberton of Fort Worth, TX and Patricia Carroll of Carrollton, TX; Two sister in laws, Linda Baker and Carloyn Harman, one brother n law, Gary Cole. Her sweet and furry companion Chloe.

Services are pending and will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be in Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby, MT.
