Mary Belinda (Johns) Odell-Black

May 30, 1957 — March 1, 2016

Mary B. Odell-Black, 58 of Hamilton passed away Tuesday, March 1st at her home.

She was born May 30, 1957 in Missoula, MT daughter of the late Orvil and Zelda Johns.  She graduated from Hellgate High School in 1975.  She graduated from the Missoula Vo-tech with an Associate’s Degree.  She worked at Community Medical Center until the mid 90’s.

Mary married Jim Spicknall in 1975, they had two children, Nadine and J.D.  She was an active member and Past Auxiliary President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.   She loved her dogs and horses.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Wes Odell and her parents, Orvil and Zelda Johns.

Surviving include her husband, Kirk Black of Hamilton; children, Nadine (Mark) Pinkal and J.D. (Amanda) Spicknall; brothers, Shane, Randy, Jamie; sister, Kathy (Doug) Kimmel; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon, Thursday, March 10th at St. Mary Cemetery in Missoula.  A reception will follow at the Eagles Lodge in Missoula.
