October 31, 1961 — May 19, 2022

Mary Jo Olinghouse, 60, died in Seattle WA on May 19, 2022 after a long and hard fight with leukemia (AML) since 2014.  She was in Seattle receiving her second bone marrow transplant.

Mary was born on October 31, 1961 to Joel and Donna Olinghouse in Missoula, MT.  She began school in Missoula until the family moved to Hamilton where she graduated from high school.  She opened and owned The Music Box for several years.  Later, she went to Portland, OR and attended bank teller school.  Upon completion of teller school, Mary began working for First Interstate Bank, where she worked for over 35 years, until her time of death.

Mary loved hanging out with friends and family and was up for any adventure.  She didn’t have kids of her own, but she claimed her niece and nephew as her own.  And in November 2021 she gained a great-nephew.

Mary was preceded in death by her grandparents and her mom, Donna.  She is survived by her dad, Joel; her sister and family, Laura and Scott Lindquist, Jake, Morgan and Rhett and Emily; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a very long list of great friends.
