Mary Alice Smith

Hamilton - Mary Alice Smith, 66 of Hamilton, passed away Friday, October 16, 2009 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice Center in Hamilton.
Mary was born January 28, 1943 in Nampa, Idaho to the late Lorance and Rose Mitchell. She married Duane Smith July 24, 1984. She worked many different jobs throughout her life, over the last 20 years she has worked as a Personal Care Giver, which she truly loved.
Mary enjoyed crocheting and embroidery. She loved to hunt, camp and fish. She was a wonderful friend to everyone. She leaves many special friends and relatives. She gave of herself for others in need.
She was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren and a brother.
Surviving include her husband, Duane of Hamilton; daughter, Cindy (Terry) Neal of Salem, OR.; sons, Henry (Sharon) Eastman of Pray, MT., and John (Kelly) McGinnis of Eugene, OR.; step-children, Larry (Sandy) Smith, Bob Smith, Bill (Sun) Smith, Calvin (Norma) Smith, Patricia (Grant) Bierer, Pamela Smith; sister, Wanda (Clarence) Ferguson; brother, John (Mary) Perkey; 27 grandchilden and 44 great grandchildren.
At Mary's request no public services are scheduled. Private family urn placement will take place in Oregon. Arrangements are under the care of the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton. Condolences may be left at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
