Mary Enid Womack (Rissmann), beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend passed away peacefully on September 30, 2026, at the age of 89, surrounded by her daughters and their families.
Mary lived for her family. Nothing made her happier than her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids, of whom she was incredibly proud. She was loving, open-hearted, funny, and quick-witted, with a house full of laughter and a heart big enough to give as many chances as it takes. An avid card player who liked to "play cards with people who like to play cards," Mary will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her sparkly bling, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
Born June 9, 1937, to Madge and Rudolph “Pills” Rissmann in Hamilton, Montana. Mary grew up in the Bitterroot and Missoula valleys, graduating from Missoula County High School in 1955 where she was a baton twirler and softball player. After graduating she was a switchboard operator for Mountain Bell. She met and married Dallas Earl Womack, a first baseman for the Missoula Timberjacks, in 1956 at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas. They moved to Los Angeles where they ran the family liquor business and welcomed daughters Sheree Lee and Becky Annette. In 1962 the family relocated to Hamilton, Montana and later welcomed daughters Terri Gaye and Tracy Sue.
Mary and Dallas owned and operated several businesses throughout their lives in Hamilton including Bruce’s Tap Room, Jack’s Lounge, The Ponderosa Bar, and Leisure Village. Mary also was a bookkeeper for both Safeway and The Elks Club. Mary made countless friends as a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, the Hamilton Golf Club women’s league, Hamilton bowling league, and Roadrunners International. Mary enjoyed wintering in Arizona where she was a member of the Sunflower Choir.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, brother (Gaylord Rissmann), husband, grandchildren (Autumn and Kristopher Algie), great grand-children (Airyn and Arabella Giacomino.)
Mary is survived by her daughter Sheree Algie and her husband Dave of Tucson, AZ, grandson Ryan Algie and his wife Jaclyn, great-grandson Oliver; daughter Becky Street and her husband Scott of Arizona City, AZ, granddaughter Tiffany Stilgenbauer and her husband Scott, great-granddaughter Heidi, great-grandson Henry; granddaughter Dr. Steph and her wife Ish; daughter Terri Mildenberger and her husband Scott of Hamilton, MT, granddaughter Melodee Giacomino and her husband Nick, great-granddaughter Tatum, great-grandson Lavin, great-grandson Robin; grandson Justin Mildenberger and his wife Caitlin, great-grandson Colsen, great-granddaughter Paisley, great-grandson Lincoln; daughter Tracy of Hamilton, MT; and her life-long friend Darlene Laux.
