Mila "Mickey" Therrien

HAMILTON - Mila "Mickey" Therrien, 85, of Hamilton passed away June 14, 2009 surrounded by family.

Mila was born February 28, 1924 in Moiese, MT to Earl and Nannie Harley. She was the sixth of eight children. Mila attended elementary and high school in Charlo, MT. She also attended the University of Montana.

She married James Clifford Manley on January 24, 1948 and they had four children.
They lived in Drummond and she taught school in the one room school house in Helmville, Montana and worked on the ranch until moving to Missoula, Montana in 1966.
She married George Therrien on June 29, 1979 and they lived in Polson, Montana.
Mila loved living in Montana and enjoyed time spent with her family and friends most. Mila dedicated her life to her family and will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her sister Eula Foust of Missoula; her four children, Cliff Manley of Hamilton: Scott (Jeanette) Manley of Missoula, Don Manley of Ronan, and Marcia (Rick) Chapman of Florence; her grandchildren, Moe and Leia Chapman; nieces and nephews and their families.
The family suggests that memorials be made to the donors' favorite charity.
