Mildred Rosalie Houser, 91 of Hamilton passed away Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Marcus Daly Memorial Hospice.

She was born January 21, 1925 in Eagleville, Missouri the daughter of Raymond and Nova Beeks.  Mildred had one sister named Virginia who was three years older.  She had a horse named Tony and her home in Eagleville, MO.  She rode him 3 ½ miles to a one-room school for eight years.  Mildred married her high school sweet heart, Walter Houser of sixty-four years.  She graduated from College and became a teacher for a time.

Mildred was a mother of two children, Ron and Linda.  She and Walter spent most of their years raising their children in Kent, Washington.  Mildred worked at Boeing as a file clerk for a lot of years.  Walter and Mildred moved to Port Angeles in the early 80’s.  They bought a home off the Strait of Juan de Fuca.  Mildred loved to walk on the beach and collect things off the beach.  Mildred spent a lot of time with her grandchildren, Lorilynn, Brandon, Josh, Karl and Caleb.  She loved sewing, quilting, cooking, gardening, birds and scrapbooking.  In 2003, Mildred and Walter moved to Hamilton, MT.  She was a resident of Discovery Care Centre, The Beehive Home and her last place of residence at the loving arms of Aaron Care.

She is survived by her children, Linda Dane McCutcheon and Ronald Ray Houser and numerous grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 2nd at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.  Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton.
