Naomi Ruth (Gould) Robinson

Hamilton – Naomi Ruth Gould Bartel Robinson passed away July 4, 2017 in Hamilton, MT.  She was born on October 14, 1928 in Bassett, NE to Edwin and Gladys Gould.  Naomi was one of six children.  The family moved to Montana in the 1930’s.

Naomi later met Rinehart Bartel and they married January 26, 1947.  They had seven children together: Ruth Decker (Bill), Beverley Goddard (Alan), Stan Bartel (Leila), Linda Aff (Frank), Sharon (deceased), Robert Bartel (Kelly), and Gordon Bartel (Susan).  Rinehart and Naomi raised their children in the Bitterroot Valley and Naomi always considered this area her home.  Rinehart passed away on August 28, 1983.

Naomi later married Andrew Robinson on January 29, 1998. The couple made their primary home in Hamilton, MT.  Andrew passed away November 22, 2016.

Naomi loved getting to travel and seeing the beauty of God’s creation.  She also loved being surrounded by family and is survived by 6 of her children, 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 13th at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton.  Interment will follow at Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby.
