Nilda Ruiz Lewis
Born August 13, 1942 in Sonoma, Texas

On April 11, 2014, Nilda Ruiz Lewis, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother went to be with her Savior. Nilda spent her final days surrounded by family and friends while in the loving care of Marcus Daly Hospice.
Nilda was always very active in Corvallis Community Church as the VBS director, Sunday School teacher, Bible Club helper, and is very well known for her enchiladas at church potlucks. Nilda was an active supporter of Corvallis Schools for over 40 years. She was always seen at sporting events, even when her children or grandchildren were not participating. She was always involved in 4-H, the Ravalli County Fair office staff, and you could always count on seeing her at the Corvallis voting polls wearing red, white, and blue along with an infectious smile. She touched everyone she met, and will be greatly missed.
Nilda is survived by her husband Rollie of 52 years, Kenneth (Leisa), Jamie (Steve), Jeff (Jennifer), Tim (Carrie), and 13 very blessed grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Otilia (Victor), Paulino (Sandra), Romelia, and numerous niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Santiago and Piedad, brothers Jesus, Samuel and Jose, and her sister Sulema Ruiz.
In lieu of the flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Nilda's name to Corvallis Community Church or Marcus Daly Hospice, or to a charity of your choice.
