Hamilton, MT - Norma Jean Baughman, 82, of Hamilton passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2009 of natural causes at St. Patrick's Hospital in Missoula, MT.
She was born November 8, 1926, to Fred and Pearl Spittles. She graduated from St. Xavier in 1944 and worked as a telephone operator for many years.
On November 19, 1949, she married Clifford William Baughman, her husband of 55 years, whom preceded her in death. The couple lived in Junction City, Kansas until 1980 when they moved to Hamilton, MT.
She enjoyed camping, fishing, sewing and making crafts. Jean's family and friends have enjoyed her dolls to blankets for years and she sold her crafts from New York to California.
She is survived by her sister Mary Sue (Frank) Hottman of Concordia, KS.; six children, Diana (Robert) Gregoire of Hamilton, MT., David (Jeannie) Baughman of Riley, KS., Clifford D. (Joan) Baughman of Wamego, KS., Dennis (Kelly) Baughman of Stevensville, MT., DanaLee (Kasey) Baughman of Victor, MT., and Donna Baughman of Hamilton, MT.; twelve grandchildren, Kimberly, Jeffrey, Jennifer, Kaitlen, Regina, Melissa, David Lee, Mishanda, Clifford W., Michall, Heather, and Ryan; and twelve great grandchildren, Jonathon, Lacey, Aiden, Kirsten, Alex, Jenna, Coby, Wyatt, Brandon, Saddie, Adilynn, and Mikayla. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all.
