Darby-  Norma Faye Mitchell, 77, passed away at home, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on September 14, 1948, in Glendale, California, to James and Lillian Owen.

On September 3, 1976, she married the love of her life, Robert Mitchell. Norma loved gardening, it was one of her favorite pastimes.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Lillian Owen, and her siblings Richard Owen, Paul Owen, Jimmy Owen, and Mary Glenn.

Norma is survived by her husband, Robert Mitchell; her son, Jeremiah Madruga; her daughters, Rebekah Mitchell and Pauline Hammack; her grandchildren Zane Madruga, Elaina Jackson, Nickolas Slabodnik, Michael Slabodnik, Emily Hammack, Melanie Hammack, and Naomi Hammack; and her great‑grandchildren Amelia Jackson and Waylon Jackson.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 16, at First Baptist Church in Darby, MT. At 2:00 P.M. With reception following the service at the Church.
